Im the person who made that “Omg Popularity it just amazing I want it so much” Confession with the cruddy doodle in the background.
I aplogize if I make to many confession (I know I have one more in the wait area.)
But…I think I found a feeling even BETTER than anything DA popularity could ever make.
Making someone happy.
My friend was really upset…and..I just am horrid with words…so I drew her this picture and well..
It cheered her up and It just made my night as well to know I made someone so happy with my art.
What I wanna say is that Making people happy with my art beats popularity by a longshot.
Apologies for typos

Hello! I’m a popular artist on DA and elsewhere. I concur. Popularity, much like money, is a nice thing to have. It can grease the wheels if you engage in projects or want to speak to people. HOWEVER there’s nothing more gratifying than close, personal relationships. On a scale of meaning, a million “that’s cool!” comments are feather weight beside the big honking anvil of love that comes from a friend’s appreciation.
